Weekly Highlights by Pastor Steve - 05 AUG 2025

To those who call Cedar Grove home,
 
We begin the month of August with excitement about Alpha coming in September. During the month of August, we want you to choose 3 people who do not know Jesus and write their names on the prayer card (attached if you have a printer or pick one up at the information desk on Sunday). Then at 11:02 everyday you will pray for these 3 people, preparing them for when you will ask them in the first week of September (or sooner) if they would like to join you as you explore faith with them. It is so important during our summer of prayer to be specific in our prayers. Who do you know that needs Jesus?

I have 2 of my names and am thinking who the third can be. Very few people just wander into our church looking for answers. It is up to us to reach out to those we care about and bring them in. We want to see 50 unchurched people attend Alpha in September. The youth will be doing youth Alpha at the same time. If you have kids grade 6 and up get a card for them and as a family begin praying and encouraging your kids to reach out as well (but be an example to them parents you fill in your card too).
