Backpacks of Blessings

As the new school year approaches, many local elementary students are brimming with anticipation—but not all are prepared with the essentials they need to succeed. This summer, you have the chance to change that. We invite you to be part of a beautiful act of kindness through our Backpacks of Blessing initiative: a heartfelt mission to equip young learners with the tools they need to thrive.

Together, we’re aiming to fill 90 backpacks with love, supplies, and prayers—and deliver them through our Monday Morning Ministry. Whether you’re a parent, a student, a teacher, or simply someone who believes in the power of giving, your contribution matters.

How You Can Help
Whether you're hands-on, heart-led, or somewhere in between, here are 3 meaningful ways to get involved:

  1. ? Fill a Backpack
Pick one up from church, grab the supply list, fill it with love, and return it by August 28th.
  2. ? Donate School Supplies
Bring in items from our list—like pencils, notebooks, glue sticks, and more. We’ll assemble full backpacks for students in need.
  3. ? Give Financially to the Drive
Don’t have time to shop? You can still be a blessing. Donate $5, $10, or $15—online or in person—to support the Backpack Drive. Every dollar helps us purchase supplies and fill even more backpacks with care.

? More Than Supplies—It’s a Message
Every backpack is a powerful statement:
You’re loved. You’re prepared. You matter.
These simple gifts make a huge impact on a child’s confidence, readiness, and joy as they step into the school year. And that impact begins with you.

Let’s Make Miracles Together
Whether you donate, shop, or spread the word—your kindness plants seeds of hope that will grow all year long. Let’s be the miracle in someone’s backpack.
We’re excited to see how far your generosity can reach.
Would you like a version of this for flyers or social media posts? I’d be happy to help spread the word in any format.
