If nothing else, enjoy the stunning scenery and the joy of teenagers having good, clean fun. If you start setting aside just $25 a month now, your son or daughter could be part of next summer’s adventure!
Can you believe how quickly summer has flown by? We’re down to the last few days of our summer of prayer, and soon we’ll be sharing what’s next for September. Until then, stay faithful—God is moving in and around Cedar Grove.
One last reminder: Who are you inviting to Alpha, starting September 18? Invitation cards will be available this Sunday. With Rosie’s Kitchen helping out, we’re planning to share a meal before each Alpha session. Sessions run from 6:30–8:30 p.m. and include a free dinner. Remember, Alpha is for outreach—you can attend only if you’re a table host or bringing someone who doesn’t regularly attend church and wants to explore Jesus, God, prayer, or the Bible. Don’t be discouraged by a “no”—just keep inviting!
This Sunday marks the launch of our fall ministries and events, and we’re celebrating with a barbecue! Church starts at 10:00 a.m. sharp (with or without you ?), followed by the ministry fair and barbecue right after the service. And yes, it’s Nametag Sunday! When you pick up your name tag, you’ll also get red hearts for you and your kids to write your names on. Hang onto them—we’ll explain what to do during the service. Make one heart with your family’s last name, and one for each of your young kids who’ll be coming up on stage during our “Family of God” moment. - Click Here to Register Now
