Men's Bible Study
Tuesdays, Starting February 3 | 7 - 8:30 pm

Most Christians understand the importance of Christ’s atoning sacrifice and the significance of his resurrection. But how many comprehend the significance of the life Jesus led prior to the crowning weeks of the passion? In this teaching series, R.C. Sproul uncovers what it means for Christ to be the “second Adam”—and what this means for believers today.

From the incarnation to the second coming, this is a series to remind us of Jesus’ redemptive work on our behalf - and so we would understand why our Lord did not just come for a few days, die on the cross and return to heaven.  His entire life here on earth is crucial to our salvation, so we will look at why His life, as well as His death, is necessary to accomplish our salvation.

More about Steve Witmer

Steve Witmer and and his wife Becky are warm, authentic individuals who are very easy to get to know. A lifetime of ministry experience has given them a compassionate concern for the emotional and spiritual health of pastors and their families. They have a genuine love for ministry leaders and are known as "Papa" and "Nana" to many. Steve and Becky Witmer have served together for more than 40 years in a variety of ministry roles. After 5 years with YWAM, they served in roles such as Senior Pastor, Missionary Director, and Pastoral Care Coordinator for their associated network of churches.

Sensing that they were entering a new season of life after 14 years as Senior Pastors in their church, Steve and Becky transitioned to the role of Associate Pastors for the same congregation. This role enabled them to invest time and energy into both missions and the care of pastors and emerging leaders. In the subsequent years they have served a variety of churches in the capacity of Interim/ Transitional Pastors.

In 2021 they celebrated 46 wonderful years of marriage. They are blessed with two married daughters and five delightful grandchildren who supply them with consistent joy and an unending supply of great stories!
