| Isaiah
7:14 (New International Version)
14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you [a] a sign:
The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and [b]
will call him Immanuel. [c]
John
1:14
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among
us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came
from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Philippians
2:5-11
5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ
Jesus:
6 Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7 but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature[b] of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Hebrews
1:2-3
2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his
Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made
the universe.
3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation
of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had
provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the
Majesty in heaven.
