July 2012 Update
Well things are happening here fast and furious it seems these days.
My mother-in-law fell and got all bruised up so Patty has went home a bit early to help her out as she is 84 and lives alone. Patty was intending on going a bit later anyways to help out with the prep for the wedding on the 28th of July. Meanwhile I saw a doctor when I was in Accra and he gave me a shot and put me on a pill regime for my Ménière's ear. Since there is no cure one can only hope to minimize the symptoms which can be very debilitating.
Recently I have had to postpone a couple of ministry events because the ear episodes kept me in bed days on end. Since starting the on the pills my ear has not necessarily improved but so far I haven’t had a new episode which is all we can hope for.
Next week I will driving my 18 year old Opel to Ouagadougou (800 km) and from there travel to Abidjan (1000km) and hope to pick up one of the ministry events that I postponed and that is to share a mini seminar at one of the churches at the invite of a local Pastor. Then I plan to be in US for about 2 weeks to attend the wedding. So lots of travelling.
Pray for travel mercies as well as good reception at the seminar (in French) the goal being to raise up labourers.
Thanks much for being a partner together with Him in this greatest of all tasks.
In Him Ed
