Dare to Care

Dare-to-Care is a new ministry of Cedar Grove Church launched in the fall of 2011. Each Wednesday evening on “Care Night” a large group of volunteer ministry servants come together to be used of God to touch every individual who is connected to our church. By dividing into teams, each exercising different ministry gifts, the plan is to encourage everyone over the course of a year. This may be done with an encouraging note, phone call, home visit or through a team of people praying for the requests that are shared by the people of our church.

A special focus is made on first time visitors and newcomers. We want to warmly welcome them with at least five loving “touches” soon after they first come. We want them to know they were noticed, that we care and that we want to include them in our growing family.
