And call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me." Psalm 50:15
Prayer can change lives and circumstances like nothing else can. We have two opportunities as a congregation to join together and pray for the lives and circumstances in our midst. Join us as we gather together Tuesday mornings and Wednesday nights to worship and praise God for His goodness to Cedar Grove and spend time petitioning Him for the things that affect us as a congregation.
Tuesday mornings from 6:30 a.m. - 8 a.m.
Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Our Spring outreach event is coming soon! On Thursday, May 23rd, we are excited to host ‘There’s a Meal to your Madness’. Each woman attending will also leave knowing the love of God, and how his love has transformed Sandi’s life giving her passion
and purpose. This event is sponsored by Focus on the Family and Compassion Canada. Tickets are $10.00 and you can pick yours up today in the foyer!

Men’s Spring Training Camp is happening on May 24th, 25th and 26th at Camp Stillwood!
British Columbians will be going to the polls on Tuesday May 14. Pray for all the candidates and ask for God’s strength and blessing on them for their willingness to serve. Pray for wisdom for voters so that they can discern and determine those God would have in leadership. Pray for clarity as British Columbians examine the issues and policies of the various platforms and decide which party has the best vision and plans for the province. Pray that godly Christian men and women will be raised up to lead through this elections process. Finally, pray that eligible votes will make the time to vote and that Christians especially will seize this opportunity to influence the future of the province in a godly way through their democratic choice.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”
1st Timothy 2:1-4
Our vision for eNews is to produce “A newsletter filled with stories of Cedar Grove church programs and activities, by Cedar Grove members, for the Cedar Grove church community.” eNews is for you – your channel for connecting and communicating with the Cedar Grove community.
Here are some ways you can be involved:
Write for eNews and you don’t need to be a writing pro to do this! Do you have a story to share? Perhaps a testimony of how God has moved miraculously in your life? A poem? Maybe you’re part of a ministry and would like to write about events and programs to spotlight what God is doing at Cedar Grove. Or you’ve been meditating on God’s word and you’d like to write about what God has been speaking to your heart. As a first step, drop us an email with a brief description of what you’d like to write about. Submissions may be edited and not all content can be published so check with us first.
Send us your story or article ideas. We may use it in a future issue.
